Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom this Sunday as we gather at God’s table to celebrate communion and launch our summer theme “Sowing the Seeds.” Sarah McKinnis will lead us in a prayer of confession and words of assurance. Karen Pence and Natalie Bucks will lead us in a responsive reading adapted from Psalm 139. Courtney McCaffrey will serve as our scripture reader with a focus text from Mark 2:23-3:6 (Jesus heals on the sabbath), and Rev. Amanda will preach. The First Church Choir will sing the anthem, “Total Praise.” Rev. Amanda will lead prayers of the people; please email her with any joys or concerns you wish to have shared. Rev. Sam and Rev. Amanda will preside over communion; for those joining us from home, please set your table with the elements of bread and cup, which we will bless and break together. Join us!
