Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom this Sunday. Austen Beaird will reflect on our summer theme “A New Thing” as a call to worship. Rev. Sam McFerran will lead the kids in the blessing of the backpacks; we encourage all school-aged children and youth to bring their backpacks for this special blessing as we mark the start of the academic year. Whitney McColley (our incredibly gifted Administrative Assistant) will offer special music. Karen and Peter Byrne will serve as scripture readers along with Rev. Sydney Avent, with focus texts from Exodus 1 (Moses is discovered) and Romans 12:1-8 (one body, many members). Rev. Amanda will preach the sermon. Karen Bartman will serve as our guest musician as Leela Koilpillai is away on vacation. We will also share in the prayers of the people. Join us!
